Ali Kiba, born Ali Salehe Kiba on November 29, 1986, is one of Tanzania’s most respected and influential entertainers. Often referred to as “King Kiba,” he is a singer, songwriter, actor, and dancer who has played a major role in shaping Bongo Flava music. He rose to fame with timeless hits such as “Mwana,” “Cinderella,” and “Chekecha Cheketua,” songs that dominated charts across East Africa.
